Gillian is a graduate member of the Chartered Institute for Personnel Development (CIPD) and a graduate of the IBEC Graduate Training Programme, Gillian holds a 1.1 degree in Accounting and Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland. Gillian has over 10 year’s experience in the SME, the Financial Services and Retail sectors. Over the past ten years, Gillian has been involved in major restructuring and process improvement projects in the areas of HR and Industrial Relations at the highest level of the retail sector in Ireland.


What do you like the most about your job? 

The diversity and the challenging nature of the role – while projects are often challenging there is a real sense of achievement at the end of projects for a job well done.  Also I get to meet some really interesting people.


What three people would you like to have dinner with? 

Harper Lee, Jack Whitehall, George Clooney.


What did you do before joining Pinta? 

Before joining Pinta I took a career break to have a family – prior to that I was Head of HR Operations with Superquinn.


What other profession would you like to try for a day?

I love flying and would love to be a pilot.


What are your hobbies? 

I enjoy running, cooking and drinking good wine!
